Berlin, Germany

The TV Tower, the largest building in Berlin.
The Holocaust Museum.
Democracy to my right, Communism to my left. (20 years ago)
The Berlin Wall. It is mostly torn down now with just a few hundred meters serving as a monument of sorts.

They put down cobblestones where the wall once stood.

This is Checkpoint Charlie, it was given this name by the Western Allies, and was the best-known Berlin Wall crossing point between East Germany and West Germany during the Cold War.

"You probably heard we ain't in the prisoner taking business, we're in the killing Nazi business and cousin business is a boomin'." --Lieutenant Aldo Raine, Inglorious Basterds

I think pictured this guy saying that, haha.

The entrance to the Berlin Zoo, I think it is the largest in Europe.

The President's mansion in Germany. Apparently he recently resigned.

The "House of World Cultures," a famous art museum.

The Hauptbaghnof Train Station. This huge station was recently built for over 1 Billion Euro!
The Brandenburger Tor, a former city gate and one of the main symbols of Berlin and Europe.

A famous statute of Frederick the Great, a former Prussian ruler.

We saw a huge festival/parade going on in the famous Tiergarten. Little did we know it was one of the largest gay parades in the world, St. Christopher Street Day. Let's just saw it was weird.

Reichstag, the parliament of the German empire.

This is a photo of the "Pyrofessor" a.k.a. crazy drunk guy with fire and torches.

Ended the trip watching the World Cup at a place with a little American flair. A delightfully tacky flair to be exact...
